The homeowners wanted a brighter layout, updated materials, and a more functional design that better fit their daily routine. What We Did
This full bathroom renovation in Heritage Heights in Mandeville, LA transformed a dated 1990s layout into a clean, modern, spa-like retreat. The homeowners wanted to remove the oversized soaking tub, eliminate the vaulted ceiling that made the room drafty, and create a brighter, more functional space that offered both improved storage and aging-friendly features.
To achieve this, we completely removed the old tub and framed a new ceiling with added insulation to improve comfort. The expanded tile shower now includes a built-in bench, large-format wall tile with mosaic accents, and a lower curb for easier entry. We added a frameless glass enclosure and Delta stainless fixtures to complete the modern look. A custom seating area was built beside the shower to provide a comfortable place to sit, put on shoes, or relax.
The new cabinetry features raised-panel gray-blue soft-close cabinets, a tall pantry cabinet for extra storage, and marble-look quartz countertops with undermount sinks. Updated LED recessed lighting, new vanity fixtures, and custom framed plate-glass mirrors brighten the entire room. The wood-look tile flooring, fresh paint, new trim, and upgraded shelving throughout the closet brought the entire space together.
The result is a warm, comfortable, highly functional bathroom that feels brighter, safer, and far more enjoyable to use every day.

Project Overview
This Beau Chene project in Mandeville, LA kitchen renovation transformed a closed-off, inefficient layout into an open, entertainer-friendly space designed for family living and big LSU game-day gatherings. The homeowners wanted the kitchen to feel connected to the living room, improve storage, and create a more modern layout that worked better for their large family.
To meet their needs, we removed the dividing wall, reworked the entire laundry/pantry layout, added a large center island, incorporated smart appliances, and redesigned the cooking zone with a custom modern hood. The finished space is brighter, more functional, and truly the centerpiece of the home.

What We Did
This kitchen renovation was all about opening the home, improving flow, and designing for family + entertaining. The original layout restricted visibility and made it impossible to enjoy time together between the living room and kitchen—especially during LSU games. The laundry and pantry were small closets located in a walkthrough hallway, crowding the entry into the kitchen and limiting usable storage.
To solve these issues, our design team completely reimagined the floor plan and delivered a modern, high-functioning kitchen with a family-centered layout.
Customer Goals We Delivered
- Remove the wall between the kitchen and living room for better visibility, interaction, and entertaining during LSU football games.
- Create a new pantry and laundry solution—turning two cramped hallway closets into separate, full-size rooms designed for storage and convenience.
- Build a large island big enough for family gatherings, baking projects, and game-day spreads.
- Install a custom modern range hood as the visual focal point of the kitchen.
- Add all-new smart appliances, including a LG refrigerator with Craft Ice for entertaining.
- Install new plumbing fixtures with a pot filler for convenience.
- Update all lighting with bright, efficient LED fixtures and a new layout.
Project Enhancements & Craftsmanship
In addition to the planned work, we went the extra mile to ensure the kitchen looked seamless and professionally finished:
- Installed a structural beam after removing the wall to safely open the space.
- Retextured the entire ceiling because the old texture was mismatched—done to ensure a clean, unified finish even though this wasn’t in the original scope.
- Closed in an existing window with brick, allowing for a more functional cabinet & appliance layout.
- Designed the entire layout in-house, optimizing flow, storage, and entertaining space.
- Created a new laundry room away from the kitchen with its own dedicated entrance to reduce noise.
- Built a spacious, organized pantry with room for appliances, a beverage refrigerator, custom cabinetry, and additional storage.
- Installed all-new seamless LVL plank flooring for a warm, modern, and durable finish throughout.
- Added a custom painted range hood to anchor the new cooking zone.
- Upgraded the entire lighting plan with new LED recessed lights for a bright, inviting space.
